ECOFABLOKA proudly supports 'Akshaya Patra' program

"If hunger was eliminated in India alone, that would end one-third of the world's hunger." - when I read this, on the website banner of "Akshaya patra", I started to think deeply. It made sense. We decided to support the program by keeping aside $1 from every product we sell and send it to Akshaya Patra. We corresponded with program co-ordinator in India and with his acknowledgement we now proudly support the program.

Akshaya Patra is a secular, not-for-profit program implemented only in government schools where there is no discrimination on the basis of religion, gender, color, or socio-economic background.

Akshaya Patra is a unique & successful example of a Public Private Partnership(PPP) in the Mid Day Meal sector. In partnership with the Central and respective State Governments of India, the Akshaya Patra Foundation is the largest Mid Day Meal Program in the World.

So everytime you buy our product $1 goes to feed some hungry children in India.
